What\u2019s new?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Let’s start with the standard manufacturer’s warranty for the all-electric MG ZS EV and the new MG EHS Plug-in Hybrid. As of Januari 1, 2021, this has been extended to 7 years\/150,000 km. This applies to the entire vehicle, including the electric drive components like the lithium-ion battery and the electric motor. Furthermore, the anti-corrosion warranty of the MG models is also 7 years. And in this particular case, without a mileage limit as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Free roadside assistance<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the unlikely event of a breakdown or malfunction, MG drivers benefit from free roadside assistance during the first year after registration. And if the car is serviced at the MG Dealer, this free roadside assistance service is extended by one year at a time for up to seven consecutive years. Of course, the warranty is transferable to a subsequent owner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Free upgrade<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    All well and good of course, but what if I already bought a new MG in 2019 or 2020? Well, then the manufacturer’s warranty will just be upgraded to the new conditions, for free! Not only that. The factory warranty of 8 years\/150,000 km on the lithium-ion battery that applied to the MG ZS EV at the time, remains in effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    One of the best<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    In order to meet customer needs and gain a stronger market position, we researched the warranty policies throughout Europe. And guess what: there is only one manufacturer in Europe that also offers a standard 7-year manufacturer’s warranty on new electrified cars. All other volume brands do not exceed a 5-year warranty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    MG’s industry-leading warranty terms, which instill a great deal of confidence among European motorists, applies to the all-electric MG ZS EV, the new MG EHS Plug-in Hybrid and all future models, which also include new promising electric vehicles from the second quarter of 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
