\n\tWhen we relaunched MG under the banner of our parent company SAIC Motor, we made a promise to European drivers: making electric mobility accessible to drivers who are young at heart and ready to embrace a new electric lifestyle. Offering practical, safe, technologically advanced and especially smart cars is our main focus. But what exactly do we mean by \u2018smart\u2019?<\/strong>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

When we say MG is \u2018the smarter choice\u2019, we mean that, besides offering well designed, technologically advanced models, with high quality standards, which are among the safest in their class and which are readily available, they cars are also offered for a fair price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customer journey<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

But it’s not just the cars that are smart: the entire customer journey and experience are \u2018smart\u2019 as well. This refers to the fact that MG stands for a simple, transparent and efficient customer experience. Take the MG ZS EV<\/a> as an example, our all-electric B-segment SUV with a highly efficient 105 kW (143 ps) electric motor, a range of 263 kilometres (WLTP), a five-star Euro NCAP rating and an impressively practical interior with a luggage compartment of at least 448 litres, and all for a particularly attractive starting price of \u20ac 30,000. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The MG ZS EV is offered with a choice of ‘only’ two extensively equipped trim levels and five body colours, with all the desirable features that European motorists want today and all the popular colours available. EV knowledge and experience<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, MG is the smarter choice because there is a lot of knowledge and experience in building EV\u2019s already within MG\u2019s parent company SAIC Motor<\/a>. The latter is in fact the 7th largest automotive manufacturer in the world. SAIC Motor focuses on the development of new energy vehicles (NEVs) \u2013 a term to designate battery-electric vehicles (BEVs), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) and fuel-cell electric vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NEV sales by SAIC Motor saw a year-on-year increase of 73.4% in 2020. This makes SAIC Motor one of the most experienced EV manufacturers<\/a> in the world. In addition, it partners with China\u2019s largest lithium-ion battery manufacturer CATL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best local partners<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

And last but not least. MG\u2019s \u2018smartness\u2019 also lies in its cooperation too. By building networks with the best local partners to ensure a simple customer journey. MG has a precise strategy for the growth of its dealer network throughout Europe. Not by country. Also in terms of partners.
