A Star is born: MG ZS EV impresses with its Five-Star Euro NCAP rating
MG has a keen eye for advanced technology. MG’s first-ever battery electric car is designed with safety and innovation in mind and features high-tech MG Pilot driver assistance technology as standard on both versions. The model also uses an extremely rigid structure of high-quality steel and an energy-absorbing cage. In addition, the battery pack is reinforced with a beam and covered with a die-cast aluminum frame.
The MG ZS EV impressed in all areas of the Euro NCAP crash test, including the four key test categories: Adult Occupant, Child Occupant, Vulnerable Road User and Safety Assist. The MG Pilot driver assistance technology underpins safety in a car that’s been designed and engineered to protect its occupants. Features such as Active Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Keep Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control were all key factors in ZS EV’s Five-Star rating.
Leading since 1997
The independent crash test institute Euro NCAP (European New Car Assessment Program) has become the standard in Europe since 1997 when it comes to vehicle safety testing. Euro NCAP created the safety rating system to help consumers compare vehicles in an easier way, so they can more easily see the safest choice for their needs. With its excellent performance and coveted Five-Star rating, customers can be confident that the MG ZS EV is a safe and capable electric car for their family.
