MG3 Hybrid+ Nominated for 2025 AUTOBEST Best Buy Car of Europe Award

Amsterdam, 12 November 2024 – MG Motor is thrilled to announce that its all-new MG3 Hybrid+ has been nominated as a finalist for the AUTOBEST Best Buy Car of Europe 2025 award, joining an exclusive lineup of vehicles recognized for delivering the best value, innovation, and quality in Europe.

One of the most respected distinctions in the automotive industry evaluated by the prestigious AUTOBEST jury — a panel of 31 automotive journalists from across Europe — the nomination recognizes MG’s efforts in advancing performance, sustainability, and accessible design in a rapidly evolving market.

The MG3 Hybrid+ represents a new chapter in MG’s storied history. MG’s state-of-the-art Hybrid+ powertrain technology made its debut on the all-new MG3, and is the first conventional, non-plug-in hybrid system fitted to an MG model. The MG3 Hybrid+ will now be evaluated in a series of extensive testing and real-world driving trials alongside a selection of other nominated vehicles, each vying for the prestigious title.

The rigorous evaluation process assesses nominated vehicles based on vehicle design, comfort, safety, technology, connectivity, eco-friendliness, running costs and overall value for money —all critical aspects for today’s consumer.

Following these evaluations, the winner of the Best Buy Car of Europe 2025 award is set to be announced in mid-December. Winning the award would place the MG3 Hybrid+ among the ranks of the industry’s top innovations and cement MG Motor’s role as a leader in automotive design.
